Over the past couple years, Rick Spencer-Walt had come close to cracking Sauble Falls Tent and Trailer Park Late Model victory lane at Sunset Speedway, but always just fell shy. After taking the lead on a late race restart, Doug Butler held off Andy Kamrath en route to scoring the victory in the Signs of Innovation Mini Stock feature at Sunset Speedway.
After taking time during the off-season to work on his program, Ryan Kimball came out of the box strong, winning the first Sauble Falls Tent and Trailer Parks Late Model feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
When OSCAAR Modified competitor Dan Price decided to go racing, he went to a wrecking yard and gave them a small deposit for a 1985 Monte Carlo, with plans to pick it up a couple days later.
