MILLGROVE, Ontario — The season may be winding down, but the action has not slowed any as there was lots going on this past Saturday, September 5 at Flamboro Speedway.

Todd Shepherd led flag-to-flag to win the first Ontario Sportsman Series feature ahead of Kevin Trevellin, Shawn McGlynn, Kevin Gallant, and Jordan Wilms. Donavin Clark battled mid-pack en route to sixth in front of Chad McGlynn, Billy Zardo, Austin Seburn, and Sean Mangin. Ty Riopelle was 11th, followed by Kaden Patrick, Kyle Istead, Jason Vale, Colton Clark, Jamie Morency, Cooper Aubertin, and Brad Robinson.

Kevin Trevellin led all 50 laps to win the second OSS feature ahead of Todd Shepherd, Ty Riopelle, Jordan Wilms, and Chad McGlynn. Donavin Clark was sixth once again, this time in front of Austin Seburn, Billy Zardo, Sean Mangin, and Brad Robinson. Kaden Patrick was 11th, followed by Jason Vale, Cooper Aubertin, Kyle Istead, Colton Clark, Jamie Morency, Shawn McGlynn, and Kevin Gallant.

Matt Young took the lead on Lap 8 en route to winning the opening Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stock feature ahead of Bobby Mercer, Blaise Shaw, Mike Thomson, Mike Robinson III, Shawn Taylor, Louis Mehlenbacher, and Andrew Smith.

Matt Young was declared the overall winner of the FlowerPot 51’s for the Mini Stocks.

Chance Rogers led flag-to-flag en route to winning the first Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks feature ahead of Spencer Riddell, Matt Young, Chase Mitchell, and Rodney Rutherford. Gary Slama made his way forward for sixth in front of Rachel Mitchell, John Cote, Rick Mitchell, and Brandyn Milligan. Phil Givens was able to climb up to 11th after starting deep in the field, followed by Hailey Hill, Leo Labarbera, Megan Mitchell, Dan Storey, Mark Allan, Randy Rodgers, William Young, Mac Ingram, and Craig Cole.

Chase Mitchell took the lead at the halfway mark en route to winning the second Pure Stock feature ahead of Brandyn Milligan, Spencer Riddell, Matt Young, and Rodney Rutherford. Chance Rogers was sixth this time around in front of Gary Slama, Megan Mitchell, Leo Labarbera, and John Cote. Mac Ingram was 11th, followed by Rick Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Dna Storey, Mark Allan, Randy Rodgers, William Young, Phil Givens, Hailey Hill, and Craig Cole.

As a result, Chase Mitchell was deemed the overall winner of the FlowerPot 51’s for the Pure Stocks,

The next scheduled event at Flamboro Speedway takes place on Saturday, September 12, with Memorial Night. It also marks the seventh round of the Grisdale Showdown Series for the Pro Late Models, alongside the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks & Ontario Pro Challenge. There will be a fan appreciation corn roast held after the event.
