PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Starting on the pole, Amanda Balson did what she needed to do en route to capturing the victory in the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifed feature at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic brought to you by The Car Guy Auto Service.
Balson was one of the quickest cars through practice and carried the speed into qualifying as she was one of the four heat winners. She would draw the pole on the top-six qualifier re-draw, giving her the prime spot for The Car Guy Auto Service green flag. She stretched her advantage over the field throughout the first half of the feature, though her competitors were able to draw right to her back bumper as the laps began to wind down.
Despite being looked at high and low over the final eight laps, Balson held off all challengers en route to crossing the finish line first to visit Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd victory lane for the second time this season. Wally Wilson used a bump-and-run on Brent McLean in the final couple laps to score a season-best runner-up finish.
It was a solid, quiet weekend for Dale Reinhart, but that is all he needed to do as the fourth-place finish allowed him to be crowned the 2026 Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modified Champion. Jason Keen completed the top-five.
Steve Trendell was sixth followed by Bryan Batty, Tyler Liscum, Matt Haufe, Max Beyore, Coltn Everingham, and Eric McLean. Batty rebounded for his seventh after contact with Everingham on Lap 18, while McLean suffered a suspension issue ending his race early on Lap 9.
Heat winners were Matt Haufe, Amanda Balson, Jason Keen, and Coltin Everingham.
