When it came to the OSCAAR Super Late Models at Peterborough Speedway, it was all about the Watson family. Brandon Watson wasted no time getting to the front to win the event for a second straight year, while Glenn Watson was crowned the 2017 series champion with a runner-up.
Making the trip up from Michigan, Gregory Rudzik led flag-to-flag en route to scoring the victory in the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway.
Back in July, Rick Spencer-Walt put together an impressive run en route to winning the Chase for the Colours to take the pole for the Autumn Colours Classic. He returned on Sunday to the 1/3 mile speedway, leading flag-to-flag en route to winning the feature.
Starting up front, Treyten Lapcevich took the lead right from the start and led the rest of the way en route to becoming the youngest Autumn Colours Classic Super Stock feature winner at Peterborough Speedway.
For the second straight year, Jessica James was victorious at the Autumn Colours Classic, as last year she won the OSCAAR Midget feature, while winning the Outlaw Midget main event in 2017.
The string of success recently for Daniel Hawn continued as he won his fourth straight feature with the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway. Meanwhile, Jordan Hanna picked up a runner-up to be crowned the 2017 OSCAAR Pro Midget Champion.
For the first time in the history of the event, someone not named Lane Zardo picked up the victory, as it was Gerrit Tiemersma winning the APC Auto Parts Thunder Car Youngguns Showcase this year.
For the third year in a row, the APC Auto Parts Mini Stock Youngguns Showcase had a different race winner, following a thrilling battle at the front of the field.
