Despite facing adversity with a couple incidents, Luke Gignac would score a pair of top-fives in his qualifying heats ran on Saturday as part of Sunset Speedway’s Spring Velocity.

While the Queenston OSCAAR Modifieds are seeing several newcomers, there are also some familiar returning faces as well. 2017 Champion Luke Gignac will once again be driving ADAMS Motorsports’ No. 99 for the fourth straight season.

After winning the championship last season, Luke Gignac overcame adversity in 2018 to place seventh in the year-end OSCAAR Modified standings.
After being involved in a mid-race caution, Luke Gignac made his way back to the front for a top-10 finish in the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway.
