PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Despite having two different drivers behind the wheel over the final two events, ADAMS Motorsports was able to finish the season with a pair of top-10 finishes.
Rick Spencer-Walt jumped behind the wheel of the No. 99 Modified at Flamboro Speedway, placing sixth in the first heat, followed by a runner-up in the second qualifier. Starting eighth for the feature, he remained there through the early stages, unable to make up much ground. The field got strung out through the second half, with Spencer-Walt crossing the finish line in eighth.
A week later at Peterborough Speedway, Luke Gignac was back behind the wheel, scoring a sixth in the first heat, and a fourth in the other qualifier. Starting second for the feature, he’d drop back to ninth in the first half of the event. He’d push on the final restart with three laps to go to gain ground, ultimately crossing the finish line in 10th.
