After watching the first month of racing only get a single feature in the books, the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stocks at Sunset Speedway have been able to put in six features in June and July.
With a lot of eyes on the mini stock division this week with the big invitational at Jukasa Motor Speedway, the panel was certainly feeling the pressure in ranking the top-10 competitors.

The top-10 finishes continued for Ron Quesnelle on Saturday night, as he’d battle through some adversity for a pair of them in the 35-lap features.

Through this season to date, Jody Bound had been fast in each of his appearances at Sunset Speedway. Though come feature time, it seemed something that would happen to stop the No. 5 from reaching victory lane.
Thus far this year at Sunset Speedway, Samantha Shaw has not finished off the podium in any of the features that she has ran. That continued on Saturday night, as she won the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stock 25-lap main event.
