PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — James Stanley can now call himself a feature winner in the Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Pro Sprints as he won the 25-lap event presented by PCI Imageware Corporation on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.
Daniel Hawn won the first heat ahead of James Stanley, Rob Summers, Brad Holmes, Owen Elliott, Kevin Taylor, Ryan Battilana, Russ Couture, Tyler Cullen, and Jaden Riddell. Unfortunately, Cullen and Riddell both experienced mechanical issues while Battilana spun on the last lap.
Hawn went for the daily double ahead of Stanley, Summers, Holmes, Cullen, Taylor, Elliott, and Couture.
Come feature time, Tyler Cullen started pole ahead of Brad Holmes, Kevin Taylor, Rob Summers, Ryan Battilana, James Stanley, Daniel Hawn, Owen Elliott, Russ Couture, and Dylan Little.
James Stanley would waste no time making his way to the front, taking the lead and never looking back en route to victory lane. Daniel Hawn was fast at getting through the traffic, moving into second by the third lap. However, he was unable to catch Stanley through the second half of the feature as they weaved through lap traffic.
Brad Holmes finished third after running in the top-three all race long, followed by Rob Summers and Tyler Cullen. Owen Elliott finished sixth following a mid-race battle with Ryan Battilana, with Russ Couture, Kevin Taylor, and Dylan Little rounding out the field.
The next feature for the Living Lighting OSCAAR Pro Sprints is at Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, August 24, presented by Metro Air.
