With two races left in the 2017 season, the OSCAAR Pro Midget Championship standings are closer than they’ve ever been with intrigue surrounding who will walk away with the title.
With consistency on a weekly basis, Eric Yorke earned the 2017 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division III Championship.
Despite starting the year off on a rough note, Nic Montanari quickly turned up the whip this season, placing in the top-five in both the Sunset Speedway standings and NASCAR Whelen All-American Division III points.
While the weekend did not go as planned, McLean Motorsports was able to learn a lot throughout the Velocity 250 at Sunset Speedway.
Running up front throughout the entire event, Will Gibbons was able to take home a top-10 finish at Sunset Speedway’s Velocity 250.
After taking a year off away from the track, Terry Woodley returned to Sunset Speedway for this past weekend’s Velocity 250, scoring a top-20 finish.
Battling hard on both days at the Velocity 250, Lisa DeLeeuw was able to walk away from the weekend with a top-20 finish.
After leading several laps, Eric Yorke came up just short of scoring the victory in the Velocity 250 at Sunset Speedway.
With the championship coming down to the wire, it’s no secret that the OSCAAR Pro Midget drivers are excited to get back to Flamboro Speedway for the second last event of the season, Frostoberfest.
