This past Saturday night, Flamboro Speedway staff and drivers joined together with fans to honor the drivers, crew members, and staff of the past. The celebration together, including an autograph session and corn roast, brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
Before you can race in the bigger classes of motorsports, you need to get your start somewhere. For a lot of drivers, it was in the four-cylinder Mini Stocks and Pure Stocks. Those classes shined on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway, with one driver sweeping the night.
Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway marked the second round of the Grisdale Triple Crown, and it did not disappoint.
With tons of smiles through the pits, it was easy to see that Kid’s Ride Night was a success at Flamboro Speedway with a bunch of the younger racing fans getting to ride around the speedway on-board a racecar. Though on top of that, they were treated to some great racing on-track.
Following a pair of features, it’d come down to a tie for the Canadian Vintage Modifieds’ overall winner on Doc Roper night at Flamboro Speedway. As a result, both T.J. Marshall and Mike Podd were credited with the victory.
Billy Schwartzenburg’s experience at Flamboro Speedway paid off on Saturday night, as he was able to pick up his first career APC Auto Parts United Late Models of Ontario victory in the London Recreational Racing 100.
Underneath sunny skies, the action was close on-track as the drivers at Flamboro Speedway battled hard for every single position on Saturday night.
