On a regular Saturday night, Paul Boundy is one of several super stocks you can find at Peterborough Speedway. Though on July 4, he will be one of the drivers in the field for Operation Green Flag at Flamboro Speedway.
After watching the Pro Late Models and Canadian Vintage Modifieds get their turn at returning to the track, the next set of divisions are ready to go with the Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks scheduled for Operation Green Flag on July 4 at Flamboro Speedway. One of the drivers scheduled to be part of the field is Gerrit Tiemersma.
With the current phase of reopening for the province and tracks remaining closed to competition, the 2020 OSCAAR season opener has been tentatively scheduled for July.
The re-opening phase has begun, and Flamboro Speedway will be part of that – to a degree.
With the latest government regulations released last week, Varney International Speedway officials have announced that they will be hosting their season opener on Saturday, May 23. These events will be happening without fans in attendance, and with social distancing measures in-place.
