Each lap Wally Wilson Racing is able to lead this year, whether in the Queenston OSCAAR Modified or Outlaw Midget, it’s going to help a great cause. That’s because Wally Wilson will supporting the Laps 4 Muscular Dystrophy (L4MD) program once again.
Julia Capirchio already had a full summer planned with her sophomore campaign in the Ontario Pro Challenge Series, but she’s about to make things even more busier. At the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, it was revealed she would run a part-time Outlaw Midget schedule in the No. 18 entry owned by Tom Tyo.

The off-season for many drivers involves going through their car and making the necessary improvements and upgrades. Kevin Spiez has done that the past eight years, but was ready for a change in 2019.

Race fans, begin planning your summer racing schedules. In addition to several tracks and series having already released their tentative plans already, three more touring divisions joined the fray with the release of their schedules on Tuesday, January 22.
Jordan Howse had run Outlaw Midget events before, but getting behind the wheel of the Brian Woodland owned No. 48 proved to be the magic ticket. He scored his first career Outlaw Midget feature victory on Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic.
Since 50 laps – well 48, but we’ll get to that – in the OSCAAR Modified wasn’t enough, Wally Wilson performed double duty in running the Outlaw Midget event as well. Ultimately, he was able to leave Sunset Speedway with a top-10 finish.
After coming close through the years, Jessica James put together a stellar performance en route to winning the Velocity 250 Outlaw Midget feature on Sunday afternoon.
