LONDON, Ontario — When you have a car that is on rails, there is no stopping you en route to victory lane – and that was the case for Jake Sheridan on Friday night at Delaware Speedway. The driver of the No. 52s car dominated the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Models presented by Just Foam It feature at Delaware sponsored by McColl Racing Enterprises.

Sheridan’s speed was evident from the beginning of the night, as he captured the Shepherd Media Fastest Qualifier Award with a lap of 17.105 seconds, almost four tenths quicker than the rest of his competition.

The invert would shuffle up the field, with the Mount Brydges native taking The Car Guy green flag from the sixth position. This did not faze him, as Sheridan found his way up into the runner-up spot at the end of the opening lap, before gaining the lead on a restart. He then led the rest of the feature, stretching his advantage over the field throughout en route to Hoosier Racing Tire / Bicknell Racing Products victory lane.

Brandon Passer continued his strong start to the 2026 campaign with a runner-up performance, while T.J Edwards crossed the finish line in third after pacing the opening lap. Will Quarrie made the most of his series debut with a fourth, as Dario Capirchio completed the top-five.

Dustyn Mombourquette was sixth ahead of Trevor Monaghan, Mike Miller, Ryan Dick, and Brad Pearsall. Pearsall fell out of the event as a result of mechanical issues on Lap 15 while running fourth.

Glenn Watson looked poised to have a good run, but contact on the opening lap resulted in the No. 22 making significant contact with the front stretch wall, ending his night early. He was uninjured in the incident.

The JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Models presented by Just Foam It are back on track on Saturday, September 19 at Sauble Speedway. They will be joined by the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifieds and The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive.
