PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — It may be Will Quarrie’s last start in a Jr Late Model, but he’s certainly leaving the chapter behind with a lot of success. He capped off the success by making history in winning the inaugural Autumn Colours Classic feature for the Jr Late Models.
Will Quarrie started pole in front of Jake Spencer-Walt, Wyatt Sprung, Lucas Finnegan, Cole Kamrath, Kaidan Beatty, Chase Stevenson, Keegan Moat, Carson Cousineau, Chase Cousineau, Amber Wallis, Cole Cousineau, Lyla Simka, Morgan Moore, and Lakelyn Junkin.
Will Quarrie grabbed the early advantage in front of Spencer-Walt and Sprung, but the yellow flag waved for Cole Cousineau for going around in turns three and four.
Jake Spencer-Walt got a good restart to take over the top spot in front of Quarrie, Sprung, Finnegan, Kamrath, Carson Cousineau, Stevenson, and Chase Cousineau.
The lead would not last, with Will Quarrie taking advantage of the lap traffic to retake the lead. Will Quarrie then led the rest of the way en route to winning in front of Jake Spencer-Walt and Keegan Moat.
