MILLGROVE, Ontario — The great season continues for Quintin Murdoch at Flamboro Speedway, as he placed top-five in both features on Saturday.
He began the first feature well, pacing the opening four laps. Unfortunately, he was unable to keep the momentum rolling, going for a spin on Lap 6. Restarting tail of the field, he was able to work his way forward, returning back inside the top-five at the halfway mark. He’d continue to make moves in the second half, picking up a fourth.
He started off the second 25-lap affair the same way, taking the top spot on Lap 3. He would pace the next three laps, though couldn’t hold off the challenge from behind in dropping to third. Murdoch tried to get the lead back, but was unable to, crossing the finish line in third.
Through 23 races this season, Murdoch has only scored five finishes worse than fourth.
