PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — All of the hard work paid off for Boundy Racing, as they got to hold the checkered flag high this past Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway.
He was solid throughout the first heat, scoring a third-place finish. He carried the momentum to the second qualifier, making a move on the fourth-lap to back-up his third with another.
A solid qualifying effort allowed him to start up front for the feature, which he took full advantage in taking the top spot, ready to leave the field behind. He would not get it easy, though, with a mid-race caution at Lap 13 bringing him back to the field. The restart saw a battle for the lead, which went back and forth as Boundy and his competitor took turns leading at the line.
When it counted at the checkered flag, it’d be Boundy claiming the victory just ahead of Bailey Jacobs.
It marks his straight top-10 with the super stock, and second consecutive top-five performance.
Boundy is proud to be supported by Boundy Roofing, Mark Rainford Auto Centre, Port Perry Salvage INC, Alma Mechanical, Cobourg East Campground, Orono Country Cafe, Signworks Port Perry, Midas Cobourg, Rona Port Hope and Cobourg, Wheelhouse W10 Uniform Co., Krown Whitby, and Circa 1818 for the 2022 campaign.
