Quintin Murdoch Scores Pair of Top-Five’s at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario — Racing up front in both features, Quintin Murdoch kept the momentum rolling with a pair of top-five’s on Saturday night.

Starting up front for the first 25-lap affair, Murdoch was able to keep himself right in the thick of the battle for a podium throughout the event, running as high as third at the halfway mark. Unfortunately, he faded back a couple spots in the final laps, crossing the finish line in fifth.

Looking to run even better in the second feature, he would look to move forward in the early stages, but ultimately faded back to seventh by the halfway mark. He did not give up, though, relying on past experience to get back inside the top-five and lay down his quickest lap of the event shortly thereafter. The speed paid off, as he worked his way back forward, crossing the finish line in third.

Through 17 races this season, Murdoch has only scored three finishes worse than fourth.
