INNISFIL, Ontario — The speed continues to remain for Reesor Racing, as evident by another checkered flag for Calvin Reesor on Saturday night.
Reesor was quick from the initial drop of the green flag for racing, pacing eight laps in the first heat en route to scoring the victory. He would look to try and repeat the feat in the second round of qualifying, but came up one spot short with a runner-up finish.
Come feature time, he would look to move forward from the drop of the green flag, finding his way inside the top-five in the early laps. He continued to make moves, finding his way in third at the halfway mark as he laid down his quickest time of the night. Unfortunately, he was unable to keep it going to the checkered flag, fading back in the final laps en route to a sixth-place finish.
Reesor will look to find more speed this coming weekend, as he has scored seven top-five’s in nine races this season. He currently sits second in points, just seven points behind Jacob Booth.
