Daniel Montanari Scores First Career Late Model Victory

INNISFIL, Ontario — After coming close a bunch of times over the past couple seasons, everything came together on Saturday night for Daniel Montanari to score his first career Late Model feature victory.

Montanari was able to get the advantage off the drop of the green flag, stretching out his advantage throughout the 35-lap race distance. The fans’ focus shifted to Maltese and Mombourquette and their battle for second through the second half of the event, with Mombourquette edging out Maltese for the spot at the checkered flag.
