INNISFIL, Ontario — The victories keep coming for Matt Boyes as he scored his fifth feature victory of 2022 on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

Matt Boyes won the first heat ahead of Charlie Smith, Cameron McGlashan, Chris Allard, John Bird, Jason D’Antimo, and Peter Wakeling.

The second qualifier had a quick caution as a result of Coleridge Phinnemore going around on Lap 3. Chandler Bos picked up the checkered flag in front of Curtis Stewart, Coleridge Phinnemore, Eric Rainey, Wyatt Suttcliffe, and Madisson Tienkamps.

Charlie Smith made the last-lap pass to win the third heat ahead of Bird, Boyes, D’Antimo, McGlashan, Wakeling, and Allard.

Chandler Bos went for the daily double in front of Stewart, Coleridge Phinnemore, Suttcliffe, Rainey, and Tienkamps.

Come feature time, Eric Rainey started pole ahead of Coleridge Phinnemore, John Bird, Cameron McGlashan, Curtis Stewart, Matt Boyes, Chandler Bos, Charlie Smith, Chris Allard, Madisson Tienkamps, Peter Wakeling, Wyatt Suttcliffe, and Jason D’Antimo.

The second row starting spot did not scare points leader Cameron McGlashan, as he took the top spot by Lap 5 in front of Bos, Boyes, Smith, Coleridge Phinnemore, Stewart, Bird, and Allard. He would lead a total of seven laps, before being passed by both Chandler Bos and Matt Boyes. Bos would not get to lead for the long, losing the top spot three laps later on Lap 15 courtesy of Boyes.
