INNISFIL, Ontario — Finding his way to the front quickly, Cory Whittam dominated en route to winning the Qwick Wick T.Q. Can-Am Midget feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

Daniel Hawn won the first heat in front of Cory Whittam, Jeff Blackburn, Jaden Riddell, David Miller, Bob Bailey, Paul Harrison, and Bailey Brown.

Craig Pitchell won the second qualifier ahead of Brody Rickwood, James Stanley, Jody Bound, Dominique Smith, Andrew Whelan, and Robert Polillo.

Come feature time, Craig Pitchell started pole in front of Cory Whittam, James Stanley, Brody Rickwood, Daniel Hawn, Jody Bound, Jeff Blackburn, Jaden Riddell, David Miller, Dominique Smith, Bob Bailey, Andrew Whelan, Paul Harrison, Robert Polillo, and Bailey Brown.

The caution came out on the opening lap courtesy of Smith going around in turns one and two. The second attempt was smoother, but not without issues as Bound slowed with an issue against the outside frontstretch wall. He was able to get to the pits with no yellow flag needed.

Cory Whittam grabbed the advantage through the chaos ahead of Pritchell, Hawn, Stanley, Blackburn, and Rickwood. Blackburn would then get alongside and pass Stanley for fourth on Lap 7, as Riddell ran seventh in front of Miller, Smith, Harrison, Bailey, and Polillo.

Hawn would work his way up to second on Lap 12, bringing Blackburn through with him past Pritchell. Hawn then began to work at tracking down Whittam for the lead, beginning to close the gap. However, his strong run went affray on Lap 21 when he went around for a spin in turns three and four.

Cory Whittam got a good restart, leading the rest of the way en route to the victory in front of Jeff Blackburn, Craig Pitchell, Jaden Riddell, and Brody Rickwood. James Stanley finished sixth, followed by Daniel Hawn, David Miller, Dominique Smith, and Paul Harrison. Bob Bailey was 11th ahead of Robert Polillo and Bailey Brown.
