INNISFIL, Ontario — After coming close several times, it all came together on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway for Calvin Reesor.

Reesor was once again fast from the first green flag of the night, moving forward in the first heat from fourth to score a runner-up finish. He then backed it up with a victory in the second qualifier after starting pole.

Starting second for the feature, he kept himself in contention throughout the duration of the event, remaining there within striking distance of the leader. He then made his move forward with three laps to go, taking the top spot and pacing the field the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory.

It marks Reesor’s fourth straight top-five following a pair of podiums to kick off 2022.
