MILLGROVE, Ontario — Cole Quinton may be carrying different colours for the 2022 season, but the speed still remains in the No. 18 Mustang as shown through with a podium performance at Flamboro Speedway on Saturday.

Quinton laid down a lap of 17.97 seconds to put down the third quickest laps amongst his competitors. The invert would see the No. 18 Mustang start on the front row, which he tried to take advantage of immediately. The sophomore competitor paced the field for the first lap of competition, before being passed on Lap 2.

The early laps did not go as he would have hoped, falling back to fourth. However, Quinton did not give up, working to find speed behind the wheel. It paid off, as he was able to make the move to take the third position back, crossing the finish line for a podium result.

Quinton will be back behind the wheel of the No. 18 Mustang this coming Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
