Quintin Murdoch Starts 2022 Campaign with a Trip to Victory Lane

MILLGROVE, Ontario — The hard work through the off-season paid off for Murdoch Motorsports, as Quintin Murdoch parked the No. 7 in victory lane for the Canadian Vintage Modified opener on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.

Murdoch would put down a lap of 16.363, to put down the quickest lap of the session.

Starting on the second row for the invert, he would move into third off the drop of the green flag, remaining there until the first caution at Lap 5. He got a good restart, moving into the runner-up spot, followed by making his move for the lead off of turn four on Lap 8, taking the top spot a lap later.

Despite a late-race caution, he was able to get a good restart and remain ahead of the competition to score the victory.

If you were unable to attend the event on Saturday night, you can watch a video of the race at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL_AHnglG6w.

Quintin Murdoch will be back behind the wheel for the second Canadian Vintage Modified event of 2022 on Saturday, May 21 at Flamboro Speedway.
