Coltin Everingham Suffers Mechanical Issues at ACC

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — After showing speed to start the weekend, Coltin Everingham was forced to end his feature early as a result of mechanical issues.

He started off the weekend by finishing fourth in both of his qualifying heats, setting him to start on pole for the 50-lap feature. After pacing the first lap, he would fall back to third by the first caution on Lap 2. Restarting on the second row, he would drop back to fifth by Lap 5, ultimately running 11th after the next five laps. A caution would come out on Lap 14, giving Everingham the opportunity to come down to the attention of his team. It was determined they had a battery issue, ultimately seeing the No. 96 pulled behind the wheel. He was credited with an 18th-place finish.

In a season that was mixed with some highs including his first heat win, as well as some lows, he would place ninth in the final points standings, and second in the Rookie of the Year points.
