Wally Wilson Endures Long Night with Handling Issues at Sauble Speedway

SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Following a lack of practice due to weather, Wally Wilson would encounter handling issues throughout the feature at Sauble Speedway on Saturday.

As a result of qualifying being cancelled due to rain, Wilson started 12th in the feature, though dropped back to 17th through the first half as a result of handling issues. He avoided a couple incidents ahead of him at the halfway mark, allowing him to move up a spot. He would then battle hard through the final laps to cross the finish line in 18th.

Wilson will be back behind the wheel of his No. 69 Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified presented by Just Foam It next month on September 18 and 19 at Sunset Speedway. Though before then, he will be partaking in the Outlaw Midget event on Saturday, August 28 at Peterborough Speedway.

Wally Wilson Racing is proud to have support from The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, Mister Transmission in Owen Sound, and Napoleon.
