SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Persistently battling hard all night long paid off for Coltin Everingham, as he scored a top-10 finish on Saturday at Sauble Speedway.

With qualifying cancelled due to rain, Everingham would start second for the event, holding the spot solidly through the first eight laps. He was then passed for the runner-up position on Lap 12, dropping back to fourth over the next couple laps.

Following a quick caution for contact behind him at the halfway mark, he dropped back to fifth on the restart, holding down the spot till the next yellow flag with 11 laps to go. Restarting in the third row, he battled hard for the fifth spot through the final laps, ultimately getting passed with five laps to go. He then crossed the finish line with a sixth-place finish.

Everingham will be back behind the wheel for the next Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It race at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19.
