INNISFIL, Ontario — After breaking through with his first career win earlier this year, Brandon Steele keeps making the magic happen, picking up another on Saturday night.
Through the night, Steele showed speed from the initial green flag on the night, running up front through qualifying. He carried that into the main event, and was able to make it happen en route to scoring the victory.
Calvin Reesor put together a career night, including a trip to victory lane in qualifying, before scoring a runner-up in the feature. It marks a finish the team will savor after having fought car issues through the year to date.
Aundrea Lusk also had to fight back from some adversity of her own to score a third-place finish. She ran into issues during practice with a wreck in her primary car, resulting in her jumping behind the wheel of the car normally piloted by Austyn Jennett. Lusk was fast from the first race on the night, and carried that into the feature.
The No. 23 finished fourth following his podiums the past two weeks, with Jordan Owens rounding out the top-five.
John Bird placed sixth after a win a couple weeks ago, followed by Jacob Booth, Andrew Shilling, Karlie Wilman, and Cheyenne Charles.
