INNISFIL, Ontario — As a result of struggling with the handling of the car in the feature, Coltin Everingham just missed placing inside the top-10.
Everingham started off the night by placing second in the first heat, only for the second qualifier to be cancelled due to a lengthy wreck clean-up and impending weather.
Starting fifth in the feature, he would fade back to eighth in the early stages, running 10th as of Lap 16. Everingham kept trying to push forward, though unfortunately faded back to 12th by the time the checkered flag fell.
Everingham will be back behind the wheel for the next Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It race at Sauble Speedway on Saturday, August 21. However, prior to then, he will be making his APC Auto Parts United Late Model Series debut at Sunset Speedway, thanks to support from NTN Bearings and Holdaway Motorsports.
Wally Wilson Racing is proud to have support from The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, Mister Transmission in Owen Sound, and Napoleon.
