INNISFIL, Ontario — Continuing to gain experience behind the wheel of a Pro Late Model, Wally Wilson would find his race over early due to mechanical issues.
Lined up against some of the top drivers in the province at Sunset Speedway, Wally Wilson qualified 15th for the 50-lap feature. He started off the event strong, gaining experience with each lap underneath him, though unfortunately was forced down pit road on Lap 35 as a result of no brakes.
Wilson will hope to put the bad luck behind him with the Pro Late Model this coming weekend at Flamboro Speedway in the second round of the APC United Late Model Series tour. The No. 69 placed 26th in the season-opener as a result of steering issues at Delaware Speedway.
Wally Wilson Racing is proud to have support from The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Have1.com, Mister Transmission in Owen Sound, and Napoleon.
