Continuing to push hard from the drop of the green flag, Andrew Shilling was able to leave Flamboro Speedway with a top-15 finish.
After qualifying 27th, it’d be slow progress up through the field, running 23rd by the 10th lap. With more laps under his belt, he continued to move forward, cracking the top-20 at the halfway mark. He would avoid the incidents and mechanical issues that plagued his competition through the second half of the event en route to cross the finish line with an 11th-place finish.
Shout-out to Ben Dennis and Sunset Speedway for the bonus for the highest finishing Sunset Speedway driver.
Shilling is already shifting his focus on being stronger for the next scheduled Pure Stock event at Flamboro Speedway, set for July 25.
Shilling is proud to receive sponsorship support from Hamilton Contracting, Wilman Haulage, and Orillia Auto Centre.
