Posting the quickest time in qualifying, J.R. Fitzpatrick dominated the Autumn Colours Classic Electric City 167 on Sunday at Peterborough Speedway.
Fitzpatrick was quick right from when he unloaded the No. 84 Late Model on Friday, posting a lap of 13.626 seconds during qualifying on Saturday. He would then lead throughout the afternoon, holding off the field on a last lap dash to the checkered flag.
Ryan Kimball would run second all race long en route to his runner-up finish ahead of Shawn Chenoweth, Jake Sheridan, and Dan McHattie. Danny Benedict finished sixth as the highest Limited Late Model ahead of Billy Zardo, Gord Shepherd, Shawn McGlynn, and Paul Maltese.
The race ran clean for the most part, except for a couple single-car spins throughout the 167-lap feature.
