INNISFIL, Ontario — Showing a lot of speed for the second straight appearance, Jordan Latimer would fail to finish the feature as a result of mechanical issues.
Latimer started off the night well, making a three-wide move during his first heat en route to scoring a second-place finish, just mere inches behind the race winner. He then backed it up with a fifth-place finish in the second qualifier.
Starting ninth in the feature, he began to make his way forward, moving up into the sixth spot by the ninth lap. However, his strong run came to an end on Lap 15 when he slowed with a mechanical problem. It turned out that a wiring issue would keep the No. 90 from contending on Saturday night.
Thanks to DDC contracting, Belmar roofing, RIM mechanical, Creecher’s Design, Kreuger Electric, and Store Front Awnings and Signs for all the support of the Latimer Brothers.
Special thanks to Craig Ellis for the opportunity.
