GRAND BEND, Ontario — Making his way to the front quickly, Daniel Hawn did not look back en route to winning the Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Pro Sprint feature presented by GB Advance Power Coating.
Daniel Hawn won the first heat ahead of Ryan Battilana, Norman Newman, Brody Rickwood, Rob Summers, Tyler Cullen, Kevin Taylor, James Stanley, and Brad Holmes.
Daniel Hawn went for the daily double, winning the second qualifier, ahead of Stanley, Battilana, Summers, Newman, Taylor, Rickwood, Cullen, and Holmes.
Come feature time, Daniel Hawn would quickly make his way to the front after starting sixth, leading the second half of the feature unchallenged en route to the victory. It marks his third consecutive victory, and eighth win of the 2019 season.
Brody Rickwood utilized a new set-up, making his way from eighth on the starting grid to score a season-best second-place finish. Ryan Battilana led early, ultimately fading back to third by the checkered for his second podium of 2019. Rob Summers finished fourth for his fourth consecutive top-five, with Tyler Cullen rounding out the top-five.
Kevin Taylor finished sixth for his ninth straight top-10, followed by Shawn Stanley, Norman Newman, and James Stanley. Stanley ran in the top-three through the first half of the feature, but mechanical issues took him out of contention.
The Living Lighting OSCAAR Pro Sprints will be back in action on September 21 at Sunset Speedway, with their feature presented by PCI Imageware Corporation.
