INNISFIL, Ontario — The night may not have gone as envisioned for Wally Wilson, but at least he got the chance to lend a hand to fellow Outlaw Midget competitor.
Wilson started off the night by finishing sixth in both of his qualifying heats after missing practice.
He was ready to get at it with some adjustments for the feature, though instead would lend his car to fellow competitor Kevin Spiez who ran into issues during his second heat. Spiez would drive the No. 69 to a 12th-place finish in the feature.
The team will now focus on preparing for the next Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified event, which is the Iron Man 72 at Sunset Speedway on September 21 and 22.
Wally Wilson Racing receives sponsorship support from The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Larry’s Small Engines, Have1.com, NGK Spark Plugs, and Wix Filters for 2019. He also proudly supports the #BurnOutTheBully campaign and Laps 4 Muscular Dystrophy (L4MD) program.
