HAMILTON, Ontario — The momentum carries through another week for ADAMS Motorsports, as Luke Gignac scored a top-five finish on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.
Gignac showed speed during qualifying, placing third and second in his pair of qualifying heats.
Starting on the outside pole for the feature, Gignac would fade back to the third spot in the opening laps. He’d remain there, battling hard, until he was passed by a couple cars on Lap 22. He would battle back, though, getting back into the fourth spot a couple laps later.
The speed would remain from there to the checkered in the 40-lap event, with Gignac crossing the finish line in fourth. It marks his second straight top-five finish following a fifth-place finish at Sunset Speedway.
Gignac will be back in action at Peterborough Speedway on Saturday, August 3, for the next round of Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified competition. Gignac currently sits fourth in the standings, 10 points behind second.
ADAMS Motorsports is proud to receive support from PBS Motors and Pumps, OTD Building Supplies, Port’s Heating and Cooling, Duckworth’s Fish and Chips Orillia, Dwinnells Family Movers, Fox’s Bakery & Deli, TSS Top Shops, and Heritage Heating Contractors.
