HAGERSVILLE, Ontario — Making his second start of the 2019 APC Auto Parts United Late Models of Ontario Tour season, Jade Franklin overcame adversity throughout the day at Jukasa Motor Speedway.
Franklin started off his evening by posting a lap of 19.352 seconds to qualify 29th for the 100 lap event. Starting in the inside of the 15th row, the sophomore driver was able to avoid the wrecks ahead of him throughout the event, while battling hard side-by-side with his competitors at times. His effort throughout the race paid off, as he gained ground to cross the finish line with a 22nd-place finish.
Jade Franklin will shift his focus away from the tour this coming weekend, piloting a bone stock at Sauble Speedway on Saturday, June 28.
JF Motorsports is proud to have sponsorship support from Cadlecott Millwright Services, Lloyd’s Haulage, Praxair, Miller Concrete, Castrol and Cabral Racing Promotions.
