Battling hard throughout both features, and even finding himself involved in the midst of an incident didn’t slow Terry Woodley down as he scored a top-20 overall finish at Frostoberfest.
Woodley started off the weekend by laying down the 18th-quickest lap in time trials ahead of the first 30-lap feature. At the drop of the green flag, he missed the first incident on Lap 6 to move up a couple positions to 16th. From there, he’d miss another incident four laps later to move up another three spots to 13th. Although he dropped back to 14th with 13 laps to go, he managed to get the spot back, crossing the finish line in 13th.
Starting eighth for the second feature, he avoided an incident on the Lap 3 restart to move up two positions to sixth. However, shortly after the next restart, he dropped back two spots back to eighth with the front runners making their way through traffic.
Woodley remained in the top-10 until a late-race restart, when contact with another pair of cars saw one of them catch air, getting up on top of Woodley’s hood. Being an involved car, he was sent to the tail of the field. He would make his way back up to 16th by the time the checkered flag flew.
With both feature results combined, Woodley would be scored 16th on the overall standings.
