After climbing the wall in the first feature, Eric Crow came back to score the feature victory in the second Pure Stock event at Flamboro Speedway.
Following the first feature, it’d be Matt Young starting pole ahead of Leo Labarbera, Chris Pendlebury, Ross Winters Jr., Eric Crow, David Rockwood, Courtney Scott, Gillian Hils, Clinton Kerkhof, Mark Thorne, Jeff Miller, Doug Moir, Jeff Bean, John Ditner, and Andy Wheller.
The feature did not start off smoothly as three-wide for Winters Jr., Rockwood and Crow resulted in Winters Jr. spinning, and hitting the backstretch wall to end his race on Lap 1.
The second attempt to start the event was a little cleaner as Labarbera and Rockwood battled for the lead through one and two, with Labarbera getting a little sideways. It was enough for Crow to sneak by and grab the lead on Lap 2 ahead of Rockwood. Kerkhof then got alongside Rockwood for second at Lap 3, completing the pass a lap later. Rockwood now ran fourth ahead of Pendlebury, Hils, Thorne, Scott and Moir.
Scott then got alongside Thorne for seventh at Lpa 7, though was unable to complete the pass. Instead, Moir got alongside Scott for eighth at Lap 9, completing the pass a lap later. Wheller then got alongside Scott for ninth at Lap 11, with Thorne getting alongside Moir for sixth a lap later. Thorne got the spot on Lap 14, bringing Wheller through with him to bump Moir back to eighth. Hils now ran ninth, with Miller and Scott side-by-side for 10th.
Thorne continued his climb forward, passing Pendlebury for fourth at Lap 18 and bringing Moir, Wheller and Scott through with him.
Eric Crow led the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory ahead of Clinton Kerkhof, Mark Thorne, David Rockwood, Andy Wheller, Doug Moir, Courtney Scott, Chris Pendlebury, Leo Labarbera and Gillian Hils. Matt Young finished 11th, followed by Jeff Bean, Jeff Miller, John Ditner, Ross Winters Jr., Kevin Jackman, and Rob Shaw.
