Adam Racine started off this year on a terror, and it seems there’s nothing that has slowed him down too much as he continued his winning ways on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway, with the first of two Lucas Oil T.Q. Can-Am Midget features.
Barry Dunn would start on the pole ahead of Dominique Smith, Adam Racine, Ryan Fraser, Adrian Stahle, Steve Murdoch, Darren Dryden, Brandon Zavarella, Luc Munsie, Cory Whittam, and Josh Shantz.
Fraser broke out to the early lead, with Racine alongside Smith for second. Racine got the spot on Lap 2, bringing Dunn, Stahle, Murdoch, Zavarella and Dryden through with him. Racine then got alongside Fraser for the lead on Lap 4, completing the pass a lap later. Fraser now ran second ahead of Stahle, Murdoch, Dunn and Dryden.
Dryden would get alongside Dunn for fifth at Lap 10, but was unable to complete the pass. Instead, Zavarella took a shot at Dryden for sixth, but was unable to clear. Instead, Whittam got alongside Zacarella for seventh, completing the pass on Lap 15, just before the caution flew for Shantz going around for the spin.
Adam Racine got a good restart, leading the rest of the way to score the victory ahead of Adrian Stahle, Ryan Fraser, Steve Murdoch, Darren Dryden, Barry Dunn, Cory Whittam, Brandon Zavarella, Josh Shantz, Dominique Smith, and Luc Munsie.
