After coming close to winning the championship last year, Daniel Montanari is making it clear that he’s the favorite to win this season with another feature victory at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night.
Debuting a brand new No. 17 Honda Civic, Kevin Bridge was able to work out the bugs during practice to win the opening round of the Great Lakes Concrete Series at Sunset Speedway as part of the track’s Spring Velocity.
It came down to the wire, which kept it exciting for the fans as Kevin Bridge made the pass in the late stages on Warren Paxton to score the Spring Velocity feature win at Sunset Speedway.

Making his first start of the 2018 campaign at Sunset Speedway, Cameron McGlashan would see some highs and lows along the way.
With a pass for the lead with two laps to go, Daniel Montanari becomes the second different feature winner of the season at Sunset Speedway for the Signs of Innovation Mini Stocks.
Showing speed right off the trailer through practice, Samantha Shaw was fast throughout the entire night en route to scoring a heat trick, winning both her heats and the feature.
Coming off one of the biggest seasons of his career, there is no secret about the amount of questions surrounding McGlashan Motorsports entering 2018. However, one thing is certain – he’s ready for whatever is in store.
