A combination of 12 different feature winners including an American, along with three different disqualifications certainly made the decisions for the panel of five difficult this past week.
Driving through the field twice on Saturday night, Samantha Shaw would score the victory in the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stock feature at Sunset Speedway.
Knowing he had some gain to make up in the points, Dylan Holmes took the first step towards doing that by winning the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stock feature on Saturday night.
After watching the first month of racing only get a single feature in the books, the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stocks at Sunset Speedway have been able to put in six features in June and July.
Thus far this year at Sunset Speedway, Samantha Shaw has not finished off the podium in any of the features that she has ran. That continued on Saturday night, as she won the G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stock 25-lap main event.
Entering the Mini Stock 35 at Jukasa Motor Speedway, Samantha Shaw was just hoping for a solid top-10 finish. However, it turned out much better than that as she crossed the finish line in fourth.
Although the panel mostly agreed on the 10 drivers that should be on this list, there were variations on how they should be ordered due to a variety of factors – competition, field size, and how each driver came across the result they got. So did we get it right this week?
After taking some time away from racing, Eric Yorke returned to Sunset Speedway in style – visiting victory lane on Saturday night.
Eric Yorke may not be at Sunset Speedway on a weekly basis this year, but that doesn’t mean you should let his name slip off of your radar. After all, he is a past track champion.
