Although the panel mostly agreed on the 10 drivers that should be on this list, there were variations on how they should be ordered due to a variety of factors – competition, field size, and how each driver came across the result they got. So did we get it right this week?
Scott Mast, James Townsend, Samantha Shaw, Ryan Oosterholt, Karl Sault, and Brian WIlson. These were names that were discussed en route to putting together this week’s top-10 ranking after the past two weeks of competition. However, believe it or not, they are not among the final top-10. So who actually made the list?
Mother Nature once again played her hand as some tracks were unable to get in their feature events as scheduled. Still, the panel had a variety to choose from with two features ran at Flamboro Speedway, a single feature at Sunset Speedway, and a single feature at Peterborough Speedway.
With rain only allowing two tracks to get feature events in over the past two weeks, the panel debated putting Mother Nature in the top spot for this week. However, that’d be unfair to those who were able to shine in the six features ran between Flamboro Speedway and Full Throttle Motor Speedway.
With all four tracks that regularly run Mini Stocks in action over the past two weeks, the panel had a tough decision ahead of them to consider when ranking the drivers.
The first weekend of competition in the province saw a pair of tracks get their season started – Flamboro Speedway and Full Throttle Motor Speedway. With four different drivers reaching victory lane, it left the discussion wide-open for the panel members.
