PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — After an exciting event to cap off the month of June, the JRS Auctions OSCAAR Super Late Models presented by Just Foam It are ready to get their season into the full gear with their yearly mid-summer trip to Peterborough Speedway on Saturday, July 11.

Here are some of the drivers that will be in the field when The Car Guy Auto Service green flag flies.

Dario Capirchio knows what it takes to run well at Peterborough Speedway, as evident by finishing third and sixth in his pair of most recent appearances. He opened the season with a 12th-place finish at Flamboro Speedway.

Trevor Monaghan proved to be fast in his return to Super Late Model competition at Flamboro Speedway, rebounding for a sixth-place finish after a couple incidents.

Brad Pearsall showed speed at Peterborough Speedway last season with a fourth-place finish, and will hope to rebound this weekend after a mechanical issue took him out of the running for the Gold Rush 126.

T.J Edwards showed speed in his rookie campaign at Peterborough Speedway, as evident by scoring a fifth-place finish. He will be looking to rebound after seeing his Gold Rush end early as a result of an incident on-track.

Brandon Passer knows how to get the job done at Peterborough Speedway, as evident by a pair of runner-ups in his past two series appearances. He picked up the Shepherd Media Fast Qualifier Award at Sauble Speedway to kick off the 2026 campaign despite scoring an 11th-place finish in the Gold Rush.

Mike Miller has been successful at Peterborough in the past, as evident by a ninth-place finish a couple years ago. He will hope to score a good finish after having his Gold Rush end early due to mechanical issues.

Glenn Watson is a multi-time series champion with victories at all of the tracks across the province in the series. His last appearance at Peterborough two years ago did not go as smoothly, as contact with a lap car while running third saw him make contact with the wall to end his feature early. He finished 18th at the Gold Rush after mechanical issues.

Ryan Dick will be looking for his second straight series top-10 after placing ninth in the Gold Rush at Flamboro Speedway.

John Owen was solid throughout the day at Flamboro en route to an eighth-place finish in the Gold Rush. However, he will be handing the steering wheel over to his daughter Marlie Owen for this weekend’s race at Peterborough. She knows her way around the toughest 1/3-mile, having picked up a win there in Super Stock competition. She also scored a heat win in Super Late competition a couple years ago at Sunset Speedway.
