HAMILTON, Ontario — After a season full of success, Murdoch Motorsports was able to leave the 2022 Canadian Vintage Modified banquet with a couple trophies and accolades.
Quintin Murdoch was awarded the 2022 Most Improved Driver Award for a stellar campaign. He was also recognized for winning the Dave Franks Memorial Opening Night feature. He scored four wins, 20 top-five’s and 24 top-10’s en route to placing second in the year-end standings.
Steve Murdoch was also recognized for his strong campaign, which saw him score a victory, five top-five’s, and 21 top-10’s en route to placing seventh in the year-end standings.
The banquet also celebrated driver’s accomplishments from 2020 and 2021, with those banquets unable to happen due to COVID-19. Steve received Most Sportsmanlike for 2020, while Quintin was awarded the Rookie of the Year Award and Most Popular for 2021.
