INNISFIL, Ontario — Borrowing a car from a friend, Cameron McGlashan showed the speed everyone has been used to seeing from him all season long, as evident by being the top qualifier for Fall Velocity at Sunset Speedway.
The afternoon did not start off well for Cole Burrows, who had mechanical issues under the pace laps for the first heat. Cole Quinton picked up the checkered flag in front of Thomas Wunsch, Blaise Shaw, Johnny Paradzinski, Kyle Neumeister, Wyatt Sprung, and Madison Tienkamp.
Terry Woodley was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of Cameron McGlashan, Cole Ecker, Rob Harrison, Kyle Fetterly, Carson Nagy, Eric Rainey, Issac Dippel, and Tyler Lunch.
The third heat started off messy, courtesy of four-wide between Neumeister, Burrows, Wunsch, and Paradzinski, with both Neumeister and Burrows being done due to contact. Blaise Shaw picked up the checkered flag in front of Wunsch, Quinton, Paradzinski, Sprung, and Tienkamp.
Cameron McGlashan was victorious in the fourth qualifier ahead of Fetterly, Nagy, Harrison, Ecker, Woodley, Rainey, Dippel, and Tyler Lunch.
