PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — The strong runs on a weekly basis, and continued growth in speed paid off for Brandon Feeney on the final night of the season at Peterborough Speedway en route to scoring the feature victory.

The night did not start off as strong, with Feeney placing seventh in the first heat after starting deep in the field and unable to move forward. He turned it around for the second qualifier, though, pacing all eight laps en route the checkered flag.

When it came time for the feature, he took advantage of a good starting spot to keep himself inside the top-three through the opening laps. He would make his move with five laps to go, taking over the top spot. He then led the rest of the way en route to victory, 0.69 second ahead of his closest competitior.

Notably, he has scored 14 top-10 finishes, including four top-five’s over the last eight events.
