INNISFIL, Ontario — Taking the lead in the early stages, Josh Bullen led the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
The heat started off messy, with Peter Wakeling going around in turn one. Doug Butler picked up the win in front of Cameron McGlashan, John Bird, Blaise Shaw, Wakeling, Eric Rainey, and Madison Tienkamp.
Josh Bullen was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of Jason D’Antimo, Bob Phinnemore, and Coleridge Phinnemore. Coltin Everingham would fail to take the checkered flag.
Doug Butler went for the daily double in front of Bird, Morrison, Shaw, Wakeling, and Rainey.
Josh Bullen did the same thing, ahead of D’Antimo, Coleridge Phinnemore, and Bob Phinnemore.
Come feature time, Jason D’Antimo grabbed the early advantage ahead of Peter Wakeling, Cameron McGlashan and Josh Bullen, as Doug Butler battled Coleridge Phinnemore for fifth. McGlashan would get alongside Wakeling for second on Lap 3, taking the spot a lap later, bringing Bullen through with him, as Bullen took Wakeling and Phinnemore three-wide. Butler would snag fourth on Lap 5 ahead of Phinnemore and Wakeling.
Josh Bullen continued to move forward, getting alongside McGlashan for second, passing him a lap later, as Butler looked to follow him through. Bullen kept it rolling, getting alongside D’Antimo for the lead on Lap 8, completing the pass a lap later, as Butler followed him through.
Josh Bullen led the rest of the way en route to victory in front of Doug Butler, Jason D’Antimo, Cameron McGlashan, and John Bird. Coleridge Phinnemore placed sixth, followed by Peter Wakeling, Bob Phinnemore, Blaise Shaw, Coltin Everingham, and Madison Tienkamp.
