SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Who do we appreciate it? It’s Jessica James, who now has won all eight races for the Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil in 2022 following another victory on Saturday night at Sauble Speedway.

Jessica James won the first heat followed by Kayla Semple, Dave Inglis, and Mikey Homewood, as Dan Kviring and Zach Milman did not take the green flag.

Mike Bradley was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of Larry Lawson, Jamie Kay, Rob Harrison, Jason Metcalfe, and Kevin Spiez.

Jessica James went for the daily double followed by Dan Kviring, Kayla Semple, and Mikey Homewood, as Dave Inglis and Zach Milman did not take the green flag.

Jamie Kay was victorious in the fourth qualifier ahead of Jason Metcalfe, Mike Bradley, Larry Lawson, Rob Harrison, and Kevin Spiez.

The feature started off smoothly with Jessica James grabbing the lead on the opening lap, ready to open up the advantage and cruise away from the field. The rest of the pack hoped to close the gap and track her down, however that also produced several great battles to watch. It wasn’t all smooth, with a big wreck at Lap 11 taking four drivers out of contention.

Jessica James did not have to worry about it, leading the feature flag-to-flag en route, followed by Robv Harrison, Kevin Spiez, Jamie Kay, and Jason Metcalfe. Kayla Semple scored a career-best sixth ahead of Mike Bradley, Larry Lawson, Dan Kviring, Dave Inglis, and Mikey Homewood. Notably, Zach Millman did not start the feature due to blowing a motor in practice.

The Outlaw Midgets are back in action on Saturday, August 27 at Sunset Speedway.
