Ontario Legend Series

Wally Wilson Hopeful of Carrying Top-10 Momentum to Sunset Speedway

SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Despite not having the night he envisioned with the Ontario Legends Series at Sauble Speedway, there is hope in the eyes of Wally Wilson with the new found consistency.

Back behind the wheel of the No. 69 Legend, he would have an eventful practice dealing with a brake issue. Thankfully with some help from the competition, he was able to them fixed ahead of the race night.

He started off his night with a fourth in the first heat, hopeful for a strong run in the feature.

Kicking off the event deep in the field, he would look to move his way forward and gain experience. Though as he completed the 12th lap, the rear-end shifted in the car, ultimately ending his feature early.

He would be credited with a ninth-place finish, his second top-10 in his last three races following a ninth with the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It at Delaware Speedway.

He will return behind the wheel of his modified on Saturday, July 23 at Sunset Speedway.

Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, HAVE1.COM, Mister transmission Owen Sound, Napoleon, and RPM Racewear in 2022.
